The five things you can spend on
The official listing names four upgrade lines directly, plus helpers as a fifth thing you buy:
| Line | What it changes | Where you touch it |
|---|---|---|
| Net | Coverage and size of each cast | Upgrade panel at the dock |
| Dock | The base itself, including the showcase area | Upgrade panel at the dock |
| Boat | A second fishing platform with its own upgrades | Upgrade panel at the dock |
| Helpers | Fisherman, Spear Gun, Boat: passive catchers you level | Helper stand at the dock |
| Bait | A consumable shown next to the market | Dock and market area |
The recorded sessions also show a separate market with its own upgrade track, and a skill tree that appears only after your first rebirth. Those are not dock purchases and should not be planned in the same budget.
Spend order for your first sessions
- Net to the first affordable tier. This is what the tutorial does, and it is the only purchase that raises every subsequent cast.
- The first showcase slot filled with your best fish. Income while you are offline matters more than a second net tier at this stage; the showcase pays every second whether you are playing or not.
- Helper number one, usually the Fisherman. One helper working while you fish triples nothing but adds a steady second stream, and it is cheaper than the next net tier in the sessions we watched.
- Net again, up to the tier where a single cast covers the water in front of the dock.
- The second and third helpers, then the boat.
Recorded cost signals support the shape of that order, not a price table. A session shows a net bought for about 400 cash early on, and later a dock upgrade quoted at 8 million for the next tier. Both readings come from one player's run; do not treat either as your price.
When the order changes
The order above assumes you play in longer sessions. Three conditions flip it:
| Your situation | New order |
|---|---|
| Ten-minute sessions, twice a day | Showcase first, then Offline Pro, then the net |
| You own 2x Money | Showcase and dock move one place up; the net waits |
| You own Auto Throw and Auto Collect | Bigger net before the first helper, because casts happen without you |
| None of the above | Net, showcase, helper, net again |
If you are not sure which row fits, you are in the last one.
What to skip early
- Skin bundles, until your net and showcase are up. Each bundle states +20% money, +20% luck and +20% fish caught on top of its skins, so it is a real multiplier rather than pure decoration. The reason to delay it is arithmetic: +20% on a small showcase is smaller than the next net tier, and the same 20% applied after a few upgrades is worth more.
- Bait, until you can afford to lose it. The effect is not documented in any source we could check.
- The boat. It is a second platform with its own upgrade chain, and buying it before your first platform works spreads you thin.
- Second showcase slots bought with pearls, before your first slot holds a fish worth showing.
What we could not confirm
- The actual price of any tier. No price table is published anywhere public, so the next price has to be read from your own dock panel.
- Whether helper levels have a cap.
- Whether the market upgrade track multiplies cash or unlocks fish.
No public source publishes the upgrade price table, and this page will not fill it in with estimates. Read the next price off your own dock panel before you commit a session's cash.
